As a writer, Travis Thrasher is good and getting better all the time; as a teacher, he’s great; and as a person, he’s even better. We’ve been pleased to have him here at Messenger Public LIbrary of North Aurora on two separate ocassions. His saviness about the publishing world and his encouraging, gentle nature make him the perfect teacher for those just beginning to get into the writers’ world. If you ever have an opportunity to attend one of Travis’ workshops, he is highly recommended.
Travis’ writing is compelling and I especially enjoyed his adventure story, “Out of the Devil’s Mouth” and hope there will be a sequel soon. I want to know more (everything!) about these people and am eager to find out what their next adventure will be. We’re also looking forward to his upcoming teen series.
If you haven’t read any Travis Thrasher, you’re definitely missing something!
