In that novel/film, he also seems to take aim at power-hungry Christians. While this book seems interesting, so did 'The Mist.' I'm not sure what King's experience is with hypocritical Christians, but it seems to come out his novels/films with a certain vitriol reserved for child molesters and murderers. And, while Jesus was critical of "religious types," King's characterizations tend to paint ALL Christians in this light, with very few authentic believers to balance the picture. Anyhow, I'm not sure if I'll pick this one up or not. Thanks for the review, though. Sounds intriguing. I'll most likely wait for Hollywood to make an even more blasphemous version.
