This is clear proof that not all spirits are demons. I do believe that entering into paranormal activity opens oneself up to greater demonic manipulation, but the Bible is rather clear on the fact that not all spirits or ghosts or whatever you want to call them are malevolent or demonic. I think it is clear in the book that this is just a speculative question, and Robin himself addresses this in his Author's Note at the end. It would be interesting to hear your take on his novel. The blood of Jesus needs to be applied to cover one's self. One can also pray through a house and clear out the demonic. Usually this is done with two to three other believers.
