Meet Angus and Lucy. They might not have much but they have their books. Hundreds of books. Perhaps thousands of books. They love books! They love books so much that books cover every nook and cranny of the tiny trailer they share with their parents.
One day, their books took over the trailer. There was no room for Angus, Lucy, or their family. It was time for the books to go.
But once the trailer is cleared out, Angus and Lucy discover just how much they treasure books. Life in the trailer just isn’t the same. It isn’t until Lucy discovers the library that joy is restored to the family.
Call it a trend. Call it responsibility. Call it whatever you will. But minimalism and simple living are the latest lifestyles peddled to the masses. This book teaches the lesson of “enough” to children (and their book-hoarding parents!) without being preachy.
I found the book to be refreshing and a joy to read to my daughter. I purchased this book through an Usborn party but you can find the title on Amazon as well.
