I am a woman of a certain age, living in northern lower Michigan with a wonderful husband, a large dog, and a blase cat (yes, I know that’s redundant). I read mostly mysteries of all kinds, genres, and sub-genres. I have been a preliminary judge for the Malice Domestic/St. Martin’s Press Best First Traditional Mystery Novel Contest for over 20 years, and have had the good fortune to send on three manuscripts that won the contest. I read almost anything except hard science (physics, chemistry, etc.), and bad writing. I have a BA in English Literature. I love to bake.
