James writes smart, taut, high-octane thrillers. But be warned -- his books are not for the timid. The endings blow me away every time. -Mitch Galin, Producer, Stephen King's The Stand and Frank Herbert's Dune

Fiction Addict

Helping you find your next fix.

Shaun Stevenson

Posted by Shaun Stevenson On February - 27 - 2010

Between traveling to various corners of the world and writing late into the early morning, Shaun Stevenson still loves cracking the spines of good books. He loves to read everything from contemporary fiction to fantasy to spy novels and YA, especially any books coming from Anthony Horowitz, Ted Dekker, Robert Liparulo, or Garth Nix. Shaun has also been known to gasp out loud on buses and airplanes and inside bookstores when an author delivers a shocking twist he just didn’t see coming, and that definitely affects how much he loves the story.

When he’s not devouring plots and characters, Shaun enjoys watching movies of the 1980′s, writing spec scripts and middle grade fiction, scouting for set pieces at local thrift stores, and working a slew of summer camps. He also enjoys working for his church as an intern, and at the local bookstore, reading books between selling them.

He tries his best to keep up with all of the latest releases so that he can talk them up with customers — everything from picture books to suspense thrillers to even chick lit.
