Everywhere he turns, he feels the loss of Iron Man felt, along with the entire world wondering “Who will rise up to take his place?” This pushes the once zealous hero back into his 16-year-old shell, hoping to take a breather from the hero world and focus on a budding relationship with M.J. (Zendaya).
Everyone knows Spiderman (A.K.A. Peter Parker) by now. We know he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him spider senses and cool web-slinging abilities. We know how he fell in love with Mary Jane, and used his powers to save New York time after time. After all, with great power comes great responsibility right?
We’re pretty sure with this trailer and poster, Marvel just said, “DC, we see your Wonder Woman and raise you a Captain Marvel.”
As huge Marvel Universe fans in our house, we’ve been eagerly watching for any information regarding Captain Marvel and what her upcoming movie is going to mean to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). This morning, Entertainment Weekly revealed the first official look at Captain Marvel and some facts and info for people who aren’t familiar with the character.
So after the raw…well ,everything, of Avengers this weekend, it was a supremely smart move by Marvel to release this trailer today. It’s a nice little breath of fresh air that should help the fans a little bit post Avengers.
